JD Align ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of customers who use our QuickPacks service. QuickPacks is offered as a one-time purchase per pack with clear, upfront pricing, no subscription, and no hidden fees. It can be used on its own or combined with JD Align for a complete hiring workflow. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you submit job information and request interview or quiz packs.

2. Information We Collect

• Job Information: Job descriptions, titles, and setup details you submit to generate interview or quiz packs.
• Contact Information: Recipient name and email used to deliver pack results, quiz notices, and downloadable invoices.
• Payment Data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
• Usage Data: Logs and diagnostics to improve service reliability and security.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Generate structured interview packs and quiz packs based on the job information you provide, ready to use, print, or share.
• Process job descriptions using AI services to produce structured interview and quiz content.
• Store generated packs and related metadata in Azure Cosmos DB for retrieval.
• Deliver packs and invoices via email.
• Improve our services, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the user experience.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use Microsoft Azure services to store job information and generated interview packs. All files and data are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorized users and systems only. We regularly monitor and update our security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data.

Data storage and processing location

JD Align is hosted in Australia. Personal information and uploaded documents (including resumes) may be stored and processed in Australia and may be accessed by our service providers to operate and support the platform. If you access JD Align from outside Australia, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Australia.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Job information is processed through Azure AI Foundry or OpenAI services for analysis, under strict confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection standards. Data may be disclosed if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Service availability and payments

Paid subscriptions and online payments are provided via Stripe. Availability of paid features may be limited to countries where Stripe supports payments and subscription billing. If Stripe does not support your country, you may be unable to purchase or renew a subscription through the platform.

6. Data Retention

Interview and quiz packs, along with related job information, are retained to allow you to access your results. You may request deletion by contacting us. Payment records are retained as required by law and for accounting purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Restrict or object to certain types of data processing.
